Health and fitness have always been a hobby. I started working out as a single mom. Money was tight back then. I bought my first set of weights with an income tax return.

Today, despite a very challenging travel schedule (I average 200 days a year) I love lifting weights, doing yoga, running obstacle courses, hiking, dancing with my grandchildren and everything in between. I have competed in a number of figure competitions with both NPC and PNBA. I refuse to allow life’s challenges to slow me down and you shouldn’t either.

I am a certified holistic personal trainer, and faculty member, of the National College of Exercise Professionals. I’ve complimented that with additional certifications through Precision Nutrition and The International Sports Sciences Association and am focused on general health and well-being for all of us.

You can add movement to your life even if you don’t have access to a gym or you’re just starting out.

Fit for the Road

I spend a LOT of time on the road.  Staying healthy “out there” can be challenging.  I do what I can, when I can, with what’s available (including time, energy, equipment, etc). Here are a few of my favorite things for traveling.
