I don’t believe in die-its.  I believe in proper, balanced nutrition.  Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. Have protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats.  It is possible to eat healthy.  Even on a budget.  Even if you’re “not a cook”.  Even if you’re busy.10887517_936498373035140_9118009388038818215_o

Here I share nutritional information and a few of my healthy (and occasionally not so “healthy” – but equally yummy – remember I said, “no banned foods”?) recipes.

Just so you know, I am not a licensed dietitian nor do any of these recipes constitute medical advice. While I am certified, through the International Sports Sciences Association, in Sports Nutrition and through Precision Nutrition in Essentials of Sport and Exercise Nutrition, these recipes have not been cleared through nor approved by ISSA/PN. They are merely some of the things I personally like to enjoy and/or have prepared for friends….nothing more.

Starting off with butterscotch fruit crepes.  Crepes are made by blending together 1 egg , 1 egg Butterscotch Crepeswhite, 15 grams vanilla protein powder (I used Dymatize Elite egg protein), and 1 tbsp butterscotch pudding mix.  Put into frying pan and spread out so that it’s very thin.  Cook as you would a pancake.  Allow crepe to cool.  Spread with strawberry cream cheese or peanut butter.  Top with fruit, nuts, a little cinnamon.  Fold in half or roll like a tortilla.

NOTE:  I’ve been negligent in moving my recipes here from Facebook. They’re coming, I promise!!!!!!
